Saudi National Insurance Company was first established in 1974 in the name of National Insurance Company and in 1994 the name was changed to Saudi National Insurance Company EC but the shareholding and management remained the same.

The Company was registered in Kingdom of Bahrain with a paid up capital of BD 10,000,000 under the same ownership in the 3rd quarter 2006.

In the 3rd quarter of 2010, our associate company Wataniya was fully licensed and registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia managing SNIC previous portfolio in KSA through its Head office in Jeddah and branches located in Riyadh and Khobar (http://www.snic.com.sa).
